The Department of Pathology offers comprehensive diagnostic services, including Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, and Blood Bank services. The department also provides advanced techniques such as cryostat for frozen sections, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, enhancing both diagnostic accuracy and research capabilities.

Technological Advancements: We continuously integrate advanced diagnostic technologies, such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and PCR, to improve diagnostic accuracy and enhance research quality.

Teaching and Learning Facilities:

The MD Pathology course is structured according to NMC guidelines, offering well-rounded training with experienced faculty.
The department is equipped with spacious, air-conditioned laboratories and advanced instruments, such as ten-headed and penta-headed microscopes for postgraduate teaching. Additionally, it has an air-conditioned library with over 120 books and academic CDs.
Postgraduate Training: Students receive specialized training in Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and more.
Research Opportunities: The department is involved in both national and international research projects, providing postgraduate students with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research.
The Blood Bank operates around the clock, offering products like Whole Blood, PRBC, Platelets, and FFP, with sophisticated equipment for component separation.
We also offer CT-guided and USG-guided fine needle aspiration cytology, along with facilities for cryostat frozen sections and immunofluorescence.
Microwave tissue processing and rapid tissue diagnosis are available to enhance diagnostic speed and precision.
