Overview

The Simulation Centre at Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences is a state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver expert, multidisciplinary healthcare training. Utilizing a variety of simulation-based teaching methods, we provide healthcare professionals with opportunities to practice, rehearse, and perfect patient care. This hands-on approach highlights the importance of teamwork and communication, ranging from simple to complex scenarios, all aligned with the established medical curriculum and institutional goals.

The Skills Lab is a vital component of our comprehensive medical education program. Equipped with advanced medical equipment and cutting-edge simulation technology, it offers a realistic environment where students can develop and refine their clinical skills. With a wide array of simulation scenarios, students gain practical experience in a broad range of medical procedures, from basic techniques to more complex interventions. The lab is staffed with experienced instructors who offer guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback, ensuring that students receive high-quality training. This interactive, hands-on approach promotes active learning and helps students build the confidence and competence needed to perform clinical procedures effectively.

We regularly conduct training programs in Basic and Advanced Life Support, supported by a skilled team of instructors across various medical specialties. The center is equipped with over 60 training manikins to facilitate a wide range of training scenarios.

What sets the Medical Simulation Centre apart is its ability to provide training that closely mimics real-life clinical experiences. By immediately applying theoretical knowledge through practice, students gain a more complete and integrated learning experience.
