Our department is equipped to handle all aspects of women’s health with 24/7 emergency services, fully equipped labor and delivery units, and round-the-clock operation theatres. With an experienced team of doctors and healthcare professionals, we are recognized as a leading provider of women’s healthcare. We offer a broad range of services, including high-risk obstetric care, infertility treatments, routine obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, gynecological oncology, urogynecology, fetal medicine, and the comprehensive diagnosis and management of gynecological disorders. With advanced diagnostic tools and modern surgical equipment, we perform complex and minimally invasive surgeries, ensuring the highest standard of care for all our patients.
Our department provides regular antenatal care with a special focus on high-risk pregnancies. We collaborate closely with pediatricians to provide care for adolescent girls and maintain a well-equipped blood bank to support obstetric emergencies.In addition, we offer painless labor options, including epidural analgesia and Entonox, under the care of experienced anesthetists. Our neonatology team ensures safe delivery and immediate care for newborns.
For gynecological and fertility issues, we provide advanced “keyhole” surgeries and urogynecological services for women suffering from urinary incontinence. Family welfare services are comprehensive, including counseling, sterilization (both open and laparoscopic), IUCD insertion, tubal cannulation, and tubal microsurgery. We also offer menopause management, focusing on endocrine health and oncological screening. Our oncology services include cervical cancer screening (Pap smears and colposcopy) as well as detection and treatment of endometrial, ovarian, and vulval cancers.
The department is equipped with well-organized labor rooms, an Obstetrics ICU, an EclampsiaLabor Room, and a Septic Labor Room to manage various obstetric emergencies. We regularly perform specialized surgeries, including laparoscopic tubal reconstruction and Wertheim’s operation. Specialty clinics are available for infertility, cancer screening, high-risk pregnancies, maternal and child health (MCH), and gynecological endocrinology.
Our department offers an MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is staffed by a team of experienced professors, associate and assistant professors, resident doctors, and highly trained nursing staff. Together, we provide round-the-clock care for obstetric and gynecological patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Faculty members are well-trained, highly motivated, and engaged in patient care, teaching, research, and leadership. In addition to their expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and gynecological emergencies, our faculty excels in ultrasonography, daycare procedures, and endoscopic surgeries.
The department is well-respected for its research contributions and active participation in national and international conferences. Our residency training program is highly regarded, preparing students to provide expert care in women’s health, a key factor in advancing the health and development of society.
