The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of conditions, including those related to Head and Neck cancers. Equipped with advanced technology and continuously upgraded facilities, the department stays at the forefront of medical advancements. A team of skilled consultants and dedicated staff ensures the delivery of high-quality care to all patients.
Committed to excellence in both patient care and academics, the department continuously enhances its services to meet the growing demands of modern healthcare. It offers a variety of services, including a daily outpatient department (OPD), endoscopies, minor surgeries on working days, and 24-hour emergency care on both working days and holidays.
Specialized clinics include Hearing and vertigo, Head and Neck Cancer, Headache, Allergy clinic with the availability of Skin Prick Test and Immunotherapy to further enhance patient care.
The department is also dedicated to education, providing extensive training for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. A fully-equipped Temporal Bone Dissection Lab is available for resident training, and the ENT operation theatre is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, including an operating microscope, microsurgical instruments, and a complete functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) unit.
Additional facilities include outdoor ENT camps with portable audiometry and a minor OT for diagnostic endoscopy and postgraduate training. The department’s experienced consultants perform a wide range of surgeries, including all ENT, Head and Neck surgeries, functional endoscopic sinus surgeries (FESS), advanced powered instruments assisted surgeries.
A seperate unit of Audiology and Speech therapy works closely with the ENT department, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, particularly in audiology, speech language, and auditory verbal therapy (AVT).
Consultants regularly update their skills through interactive sessions, CME programs, workshops, and conferences, both nationally and internationally. The ENT department is dedicated to continuous improvement, striving to provide world-class healthcare by adapting to the evolving needs of patient care.
