Served in various capacities in all parts of India and on all borders, the sensitive areas of Jammu & Kashmir, the North-Eastern states and with United Nations Peace Keeping force -UN Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. Had served with the internationally acclaimed anti-terrorism & anti-hijack Commando force of India, 51 Special action group of National security guard and took part in various anti-terrorism operations in Punjab and J&K including the famous Operation Black Thunder-II. Did post-graduation in MS gen surgery from the prestigious Armed forces medical college, (AFMC) Pune and worked as general surgeon for 22 years in various military hospitals. Had the honour of being part of the raising and serving in the Level-III referral hospital in the highly volatile country of Democratic republic of Congo in Africa as part of the United Nations Peace Keeping Force of UNO. As a Brigadier medical, had the privilege of heading large Military hospitals as well as controlling 25 Military hospitals/medical establishments in six North eastern states of India. Honoured with awards/medals for devotion to duty in India as well as in Congo. Decorated with the prestigious SENA MEDAL for Gallantry for his role in various anti-terrorism actions in Punjab.
